Encounter of the Slime Kind November 12, 2009

It was just a ordinary Tuesday. For us it was cell group day at our house. That day we had finished cell past two in the afternoon and were on our way to pick up a new friend from her house.

We had just turned out onto the road when behind us Mare Win let out a cry of distress: ooooooohhhhhhh.

I turned around and saw what it was: a brown frog had emerged and was now on the front row of seats. And I remembered this fellow: this was the same brown froggy that had crept onto my similar muddy-shade jeans when I was drying it.

And this frog could really jump.

And I recalled the epic screams that rose from me as I attempted to chase it away from my territory etc.

Now it’s back.

I looked at Vince & told him: it’s a frog.

The dear man stopped the van and then went about trying to get rid of Froggy. First it leapt onto MY front passenger seat; it then landed on his steering wheel. Finally using the prong of the umbrella Vince prodded it onto the driver’s door and then onto the road.

The last thing I saw, it was sitting on the road when we drove off. I’m not sure what it will do now that it’s out in the big wild world.
